Tariq Meyers

Tariq Meyers has a diverse work experience and has held various roles in different companies. Tariq is currently the Co-Founder & Co-CEO at Untapped, a position they started in October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Chief People Officer at Untapped starting from March 2021. Before joining Untapped, Tariq worked as the Vice President Strategy and Head of People & Talent at Untapped from August 2020 to March 2021.

In 2023, Tariq became part of Hustle Fund, where they joined as an AngelSquad member. The Hustle Fund is a community of Angel Investors that focuses on diversity, inclusion, and expanding access to wealth creation through investing.

Tariq also serves as an Advisor at Greatest MINDS (gminds.org), starting in January 2023. Tariq has worked at Coinbase as the Head of Employee Support Task Force and later as the Global Head of Belonging, Inclusion & Employee Experience from April 2018 to August 2020. Additionally, Tariq was the Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Working Group at the Blockchain Association from January 2020 to August 2020.

Prior to their roles at Untapped, Hustle Fund, Coinbase, and the Blockchain Association, Tariq had work experience at Lyft. Tariq served as the Head of Inclusion & Diversity from September 2016 to April 2018. Tariq also worked as a Community Affairs Manager and a Community Affairs Organizer at Lyft.

Tariq started their career as an Economic Equity Fellow at The Greenlining Institute in August 2014.

Tariq Meyers attended Ithaca College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government.
