Jojan PM

Jojan PM has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jojan began their career as a Software Engineer at Stabilix Solutions Pvt Ltd, where they worked on programming in insurance and healthcare products. Jojan then moved on to IBS Software Services as a Senior Software Engineer.

In 2009, Jojan joined Toonz Animation India Pvt Ltd as an R&D Programmer, where they developed tools in Maya using Python/MEL and automated the workflow from modeling to compositing. Jojan also implemented asset management and workflow automation between different departments.

From 2011 to 2016, Jojan worked at Moving Picture Company, initially as a Pipeline Software Developer and later as a Senior Pipeline Software Developer. During this time, they developed and supported tools for Matchmove, Animation, and multisite syncs. Jojan also created render setup tools for the Matchmove department and maintained tools for show configuration and tools versions management.

In 2016, Jojan joined Base FX as a Pipeline TD, where they collaborated with various departments to set up work files and scripts for renders and releases. Jojan also created an advanced Maya playblast tool.

Next, Jojan worked at BlueBolt as a Pipeline Developer. Here, they automated the handling of 3D/2D data unused for specific time durations and implemented APIs to use the Deadline render engine. Jojan also worked on a project for customized build of plugins and in-house tools using Jenkins.

Following that, Jojan joined MPC as a Software Developer, where they replaced SQL commands and legacy APIs with Python classes. Jojan also worked on timeline edit release per sequence for Mill Film and various show setup tools.

Most recently, Jojan joined Industrial Light & Magic as a Pipeline TD II. Here, they contributed to pipeline development and TD tasks from August 2020 to March 2023.

Currently, Jojan is employed at Untold Studios as a Pipeline Developer and started working there in March 2023.

Jojan PM obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, which they completed from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Digital Arts and Animation with a specialization in 3D and 2D Animation at the Toonz Animation Academy from 2008 to 2009. In April 2018, Jojan PM also obtained the certification of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
