Heitor Souza

Heitor Souza has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Heitor started their career as a Software Development Intern at Bemind Tecnologia in 2009. Heitor then interned at Redu Educational Technologies in 2010, where they worked on a platform for distance learning.

In 2010, Heitor joined CESAR as a Software Engineering Intern and later became a Software Engineer. At CESAR, they worked on Android application development using Google Cloud Endpoint and also developed web applications using Java and Salesforce.

In 2016, Heitor worked as an Android Developer at Love Mondays Brasil, supporting their application on Google Play. Heitor also joined Avenue Code as a Senior Android Engineer, where they helped architect and develop an interactive car manual for Fiat Automobile.

Heitor co-founded Cryptoance in 2017 as part of their post-degree course at Fiap. The startup won the best startup of the 2017 MBA program at Fiap and led him to attend a one-week-long course at Babson College.

From 2018 to 2022, Heitor worked at SumUp, initially as an Android Developer and later as a Mobile Engineer Specialist, responsible for supporting the SumUp Merchant App globally. Heitor also worked on building the Pix Instant Payment from the ground up, which became the number one choice for money transfer in Brazil.

In 2019, Heitor took on the role of Professor at Fiap, where they taught Android development basics to undergraduate students.

In 2022, Heitor joined N26 Brasil as a Staff Software Engineer, specializing in Flutter. Heitor worked on building the Flutter bank app and ended their tenure in 2023.

Most recently, Heitor joined UNWIRE in 2023 as a Senior Android Engineer.

Throughout their career, Heitor has gained experience in various technologies and frameworks such as Java, Kotlin, Flutter, RxJava, Clean Architecture, MVP, and more. Heitor has also worked in distributed teams and has experience in teaching and mentoring.

Heitor Souza's education history begins with their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, which they obtained from 2007 to 2012. Heitor then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Mobile Applications and IOT at FIAP from 2016 to 2017. During this time, they were recognized as a STARTUP ONE WINNER. In 2018, Heitor attended Babson College for the Entrepreneurship Program, specializing in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, during the summer.

Heitor Souza also holds several certifications. In 2015, they obtained Coursera Verified Certificates for "Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems: Part 2" and "Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems: Concurrency." In 2013, they completed the "Introduction to Digital Sound Design" course from Coursera. Heitor also received a certification in "Business English" from Oxford International Education Group in London, UK, in 2013.
