Justin Lai has worked in various roles throughout their career. In 2017, they worked as a Sales Associate at The TJX Companies, Inc. From 2018 to 2018, they served as a Senior Accounting Clerk at Manulife Asset Management. In 2020, they worked as a Development Accounting Intern at Dream Unlimited and later became an Accounting and Finance Analyst at Unyte Health Inc.

Justin Lai attended Ryerson University from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting. Justin completed a co-op program in Accounting and Finance during their time at the university.
