Chester Liaw

Chester Liaw has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Chester started their career as an Assistant Marketer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they coordinated operations and conducted research projects. Chester then worked as a Trainee Investment/Equity Analyst at Credit Suisse Private Banking, providing research and market commentaries. Chester later joined S|E|B Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken as a Junior Trader, where they quoted prices and managed positions for various currencies. Chester also worked as a Proprietary Trader at Blue Water Financials, trading futures on different asset classes and providing economic commentaries. Chester then joined Forecast-Roubini Global Economics as an FX and Interest Rates Strategist, analyzing market trends and producing strategy pieces. Currently, they are working at UOB Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager and Lead FX and Rates Analyst/Quantitative Macro Strategist, responsible for forecasting and asset allocation using various models and machine learning techniques.
