Henry Bauke Gaastra

Henry Bauke Gaastra is a seasoned Creative Designer with extensive experience in design leadership across multiple agencies. Currently serving as Design Director at Machacas since December 2016, Henry emphasizes the importance of storytelling in design for enhancing business engagement. Henry also contributes as Design Director for UP THERE, EVERYWHERE, a cloud-based agency renowned for its international community in the creative sector. Previous roles include senior design positions at Oy and OY Communications, focusing on client accounts like Nike and Sonos, as well as impactful work at wijZE, Interbrand, and BCM Partnership. Henry’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from Avans University of Applied Sciences and various art-related qualifications from esteemed institutions.
