Chandeka Ork has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Starting in 2010, Chandeka worked as a Visual Sales Manager at jcpenney. In 2012, they transitioned to the banking industry and held the role of Banking Officer at BB&T for a brief period.

In 2013, Chandeka joined Kennesaw State University, where they served in multiple positions. Chandeka started as a Web Developer & Social Media Integration Specialist at the University Information Technology Services (UITS) department, leading web and mobile interface development. Chandeka then moved on to become a Senior Application Developer at the Enterprise Systems & Services (ESS) department, where they contributed to strategic initiatives and engaged in application development and maintenance. Later, they became the Assistant Director of Learning Technologies and, eventually, the Assistant Director of Application Development, focusing on delivering and supporting applications and systems.

In 2016, Chandeka also took on part-time roles at the College of Professional Education at KSU as an Instructor of Web Design & Development.

In 2018, Chandeka joined the College of Professional Education at KSU as a Part-Time Tutoring Instructor of Web Design & Development.

In 2019, Chandeka transitioned to the Georgia Institute of Technology as an Application Developer Lead (Salesforce) for the Scheller College of Business. In this role, they served as a technical architect for Salesforce integrations, managed various marketing and communication projects, and acted as a liaison between different departments.

Most recently, in 2021, Chandeka joined Updater as a Business Analyst in the Product Ops team and, later, transitioned to the role of Technical Project Manager.

Throughout their career, Chandeka has demonstrated expertise in technical project management, business analysis, application development, Salesforce integration, and marketing.

Chandeka Ork attended Virginia Tech from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation. In 2013, Chandeka also obtained a certification in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA.
