As a VP of Finance, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Effectively allocating financial resources in order to grow revenue to a $20M run rate by Q2 of 2025.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Improve the accuracy and predictability of the financial plan. Maintain forecast reliability for subsequent quarters top and bottom line numbers to be within 10% of plan. Identify high leverage points within business and hold the team accountable to continuous improvement
  • Accounting: Ensure timely and accurate accounting of all business activities. Ensure timely and accurate vendor / client payments are made with 100% accuracy. Regularly update and maintain the chart of accounts to align with financial plans and management reporting preferences.
  • Management Reporting: Provide weekly reporting updates to the management team. Create board deck materials on a quarterly basis. Participate in board meetings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive Sales / Marketing / Ops continuous improvement through real time reporting and cross functional collaboration.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or any other subject matter which demonstrates both the desire and ability to perform the job duties of this position.

  • MBA a plus but not required

  • 8+ years of proven experience in Finance leadership

  • Ability to make decisions, create change and help grow a company

  • Investment banking, private equity, and capital markets experience

  • Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities.

  • Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. Exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights.

  • Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.

  • Maintains stable performance when under heavy pressure or stress.

  • Able to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way. Determines opportunities and threats through comprehensive analysis of current and future trends.

  • Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including e-mail.

  • Able to convince others to pursue a course of action.

  • Experience in Capital Markets a plus, but not required
