Alex Malyovanny

Alex Malyovanny has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. They have worked at Upgrade, Inc. since 2017, starting as a Senior Principal Software Engineer and later becoming the Director of Engineering in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AppDirect as a Staff Software Engineer from 2014 to 2017. They also have experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Coverity from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Hi5 Networks, BEA Systems, and Washington Mutual Bank, and as a Lead Engineer at Zipsend.com. Their career started at Food.com and ETS as a Senior Web Engineer and Programmer, respectively.

From 1992 to 1996, Alex Malyovanny attended Purdue University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
