Chen Wang

Chen Wang's work experience begins in 2012 as a Fleet Management Intern at OOCL. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Operations Analyst at the same company, where they worked until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, Chen served as a Data Science Consultant Intern at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In 2018, they joined Upgrade, Inc. as a Data Scientist and later progressed to the roles of Senior Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist. Their most recent position is Principal Data Scientist at Upgrade, Inc., which they currently hold.

Chen Wang has a strong education background with a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of San Francisco, completed in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics from the University of Maryland in 2014. In 2013, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in International Shipping and Transport Logistics and a minor in Financial Services from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Chen also participated in an exchange program at Aston University in 2012, where they studied Finance and Financial Management Services. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in April 2018, and is also a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS, although the specific dates for this certification are unknown.
