Sean Middleton

Sean Middleton has over 15 years of experience in various roles within the financial industry. Sean is currently working at Upgrade, Inc. as the Sr. Director, Operational Risk since February 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Operational Risk at the same company from March 2017 to February 2021.

Before joining Upgrade, Inc., Sean worked at Promontory Risk Review as a Solutions Architect from March 2015 to January 2017. Prior to that, they were a Senior Analyst at Promontory Financial Group, LLC from October 2011 to March 2015.

Additionally, Sean worked as a Student Associate at Rutt Bridges Venture Capital Fund from September 2012 to July 2013. Sean Middleton completed a Master's Degree in Finance from the University of Colorado Denver from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a focus on Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
