Haley Northrup

Haley Northrup is a Senior Data Scientist at Uplight since December 2021, focusing on intelligent orchestration for thermostat demand response measurement and verification, as well as expanding electric vehicle detection models for clients. In addition to technical work, Haley co-leads the Women in Technology Employee Resource Group and has presented research at BECC 2023. Previously, Haley served as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Front Range Community College, teaching programming courses. At the University of Michigan, research involved developing algorithms for mood prediction in bipolar disorder, and prior technical roles included positions at Johnson & Johnson and The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. Haley holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
