Melvin Tordecilla

Melvin Tordecilla has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and administration. Melvin most recently worked at SAVii as a Data Coach starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Lead for Usage Analytics & Customer Intelligence at East West Banking Corporation from May 2019 to April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Smart Communications, Inc. from January 2016 to April 2019.

Melvin also has experience in the research sector, having worked as a Junior Specialist in Data Administration at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) from February 2010 to November 2015. Additionally, they briefly served as a Science Research Assistant and Statistician at the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB) from August 2010 to December 2010.

Melvin Tordecilla obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Statistics from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they have acquired several additional certifications, including Tableau Advanced from Tableau Software in November 2018, Data Story Telling For Business from DataSeer in October 2018, and Advanced Machine Learning using R from Enigma Consulting Group in June 2018.
