Henna Niemelä

Henna Niemelä, Dr.Tech, currently serves as Manager of Product Development in End-use Packaging Science at UPM Raflatac since December 2019, where responsibilities include managing the adhesion technology platform and spearheading Pharma and Medical adhesive development in EMEIA. Previous roles at UPM Raflatac involved project management across various verticals, focusing on product innovation, budgeting, and collaboration with global stakeholders. Henna also contributed to academia as a Doctoral Researcher at Tampere University and Tampere University of Technology, culminating in a Doctor of Science in Materials Science, with research emphasizing surface sciences and innovative materials. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Materials Science and a Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Services, complemented by international courses in Marine Engineering.
