Kimmo Mikkonen

Kimmo Mikkonen has extensive experience in strategic planning, analytics, and business intelligence, currently serving as Head of Planning, Analytics & BI for UPM - The Biofore Company since March 2010, leading a team focused on these areas. Prior roles include Manager of Business Support and Optimization, where Kimmo was responsible for analytics assignments and developed optimization models for various business segments. Previous experience at Pöyry Forest Industry Consulting Oy as a Senior Consultant and Consultant involved project management and expertise in valuation, due diligence, and corporate strategy. Kimmo began the career in summer trainee roles at Ahlström Machinery. Educationally, Kimmo holds an MSc in Industrial Management and studied Engineering and Finance at Universidad Regiomontana S.C. during an exchange program.
