Sascha Rother

Sascha Rother is an experienced professional with a robust background in manufacturing solutions, data governance, and advanced operations control at UPM - The Biofore Company since April 2005. Currently serving as Director in various capacities, Sascha manages a portfolio of digital and data-related projects and leads an expert team in Advanced Process Control. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Maintenance Strategy and Development, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing SAP Plant Maintenance and advancing digital initiatives. Sascha's career began as an Automation Apprentice at Nordland Papier GmbH, supplemented by educational credentials in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven. Additionally, Sascha developed monitoring software for the "Transrapid" maglev train during a student internship at IABG.
