Sara Moore

Sara Moore is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and payroll management. Currently serving as the Deputy Finance Director for Upper Cumberland Development District since February 2023, Sara has previously worked as an Accounting Technician for the City of Cookeville, where responsibilities included processing payroll for 500 employees, preparing interdepartmental billing, and managing various financial reports. Prior roles include Co-Owner at A Plus Window Cleaning, where invoicing and employee management were key functions, and Business Owner at Marble Slab Creamery, focusing on accounting and customer service. Sara’s career began as a Shipping Clerk at Academy Sports + Outdoors, applying administrative skills in the shipping department. Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University.
