Lena Winterbom

Lena Winterbom is the Director of Labor Market Administration at UPPSALA KOMMUN. Lena has previously worked as a Kommunledningskontoret Uppsala kommun, where they were responsible for a project between social services and businesses, initiated by the city director. Lena also worked as a consultant/board member at Svenska skolan in Spain, where they were responsible for personnel issues and the recruitment of a new principal. Additionally, they have worked as a program responsible at Skola-arbetslivscentrum, where they built and developed the Individual Program, was responsible for teachers, student health and administration, and taught social orientation and career orientation. Winterbom began their career as a social secretary at Nyby socialkontor in Gamla uppsala kommundel.

Lena Winterbom studied at Uppsala University, completing a state-sponsored training program for school principals. Lena also took a UGL course and pursued studies in HR work in theory and practice, project work as a form of work, and work science with a focus on competence development at Umeå University, Malmö University, and the University of Gävle. Additionally, they completed coursework in research pedagogy at the D-level, scientific theory and methods in pedagogy, and special education at Umeå University. Finally, they earned a Bachelor of Education in careers education from Umeå University.
