Dan McBeain's work experience spans several positions and companies. Dan started their career as a Store Manager and Store Owner in multiple retail locations from 1984 to 1991. Dan then joined SUPERVALU in 1991 as the Director of Business Systems, where they led a team responsible for the deployment and support of new merchandising and retail operations tools. During their time at SUPERVALU, they standardized retail divisions to a common set of tools, processes, and data, and drove over $20 million in project benefits.

In 2011, Dan worked at Retalix as a Program Manager, coordinating project work and managing the defect process for Target. Dan also handled invoicing and billable hours reconciliation between Retalix and Target.

From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Director of Client Services at Yomari Information Services. In 2014, they founded MCBEAIN, where they provided value to clients nationwide by improving sales, margin, and labor through the implementation of better tools and the utilization of data. Dan also led teams through process changes focused on data and results.

Dan then joined SUPERVALU again in 2016 as the Director of Shrink and Inventory Management, where they stayed until 2018.

In 2020, they worked as a Retail Consultant and Account Manager at Upshop, where they managed relationships with multiple retail accounts, grew annual revenue, and led change management efforts for implementing new tools.

Also in 2020, Dan worked at Itasca Retail as a Retail Consultant and Account Manager.

Throughout their career, Dan McBeain has accumulated valuable experience in retail operations, sales, and data management.

Dan McBeain obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University. In addition, they earned a certification as a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci in March 2019.
