Georg Bettenhauser has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Georg began their career at Quantum as a Senior Manager of Global Channel Marketing, where they led a team in driving demand and loyalty for the company's product portfolio. Georg developed a Global Channel Partner Program and implemented CRM infrastructure to track program performance.
Bettenhauser then moved on to Seagate Technology, where they held various roles including Director of Global Online Sales and Director of Global Channel Development. Georg successfully built and operated a profitable B2C eCommerce channel, accelerated direct online revenue growth, and optimized the company's distribution network through performance incentive programs and systematic management of partners.
Later, Bettenhauser joined Enphase Energy as the Director of Global Channel Management. Georg played a key role in guiding the company's outbound GTM strategy during a period of hyper-growth. Georg built a scalable channel architecture and infrastructure, enabling rapid geographic expansion and operational scalability.
Bettenhauser continued their career in the renewable energy industry, working at SolarWorld and Trina Solar. At SolarWorld, they served as the Head of Channel Management, where they transformed the go-to-market approach and increased the annual distribution network run-rate. At Trina Solar, they held the position of Head of Sales, overseeing the sales organization and routes-to-market for small and medium commercial, residential, and channels.
In 2018, Bettenhauser became an investor in EnergySage, a solar energy marketplace. Georg also served as the VP of Sales and Supplier Partnerships before transitioning to an investment role.
Bettenhauser is currently involved in several companies. Georg is a Board Member at BIA Controls, an Investor at ConnectDER, and a Managing Director at Cricetus Felix Ventures. Georg also holds the role of VP of Business Development at Upstart Power, a company that designs and produces solid oxide fuel cell generators.
Georg Bettenhauser holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Georg also earned a Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. (FH) degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. Moreover, Georg has completed an Academic Year in International Marketing at San Jose State University.
