Gaurij Hardikar

Gaurij Hardikar is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in building automated data ingestion solutions and real-time streaming frameworks. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer on the Growth vertical team at Upstart since January 2022, Gaurij focuses on ingesting and reporting digital marketing and event stream data utilizing a robust tech stack including Python, Spark, and Kafka. Prior to Upstart, Gaurij held the position of Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where responsibilities included the design of real-time streaming frameworks for error analysis and data processing using a variety of technologies such as Java, Apache Flink, and Cassandra. Gaurij also has experience at Capital One and JPMorgan Chase, focusing on REST API development and enterprise-level applications. Gaurij holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University.
