Matthew Ritter

Matthew Ritter is a seasoned professional in application security and software development, currently serving as a Senior Application Security Engineer at Upstart since August 2020. Prior to Upstart, Ritter worked as a Security Analyst at PNC, where responsibilities included involvement in Static Application Security Testing and Application Vulnerability Assessment teams, utilizing technologies such as Checkmarx and Burp Suite. Previously, Ritter was a Software Developer at Fiserv, leading a team in the development of high-traffic banking APIs and supporting production deployments. initially starting as an intern, Ritter also served as a Software Engineer at Command Alkon, managing large projects for automatic software updates. Ritter holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
