David Phifer

David Phifer has extensive experience in the field of software engineering and technology. David has been working as the Director of Software Engineering at Upstream Rehabilitation since 2019. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at BenchMark Rehab Partners, including Director of Software Engineering from 2018 to 2019, Software Development Manager from 2014 to 2018, Programmer/Analyst from 2013 to 2014, Network Technician from 2012 to 2013, and Helpdesk Associate in 2012. At BenchMark Rehab Partners, they were responsible for developing and maintaining internal software, managing updates and enhancements for billing and EMR software, and assisting in server maintenance and technical issue resolution.

David Phifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (IT) with a focus on Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University. David has obtained additional certifications such as Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from PSI Services LLC in 2021 and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in December 2018.
