Tom Kaplan

Tom Kaplan is an experienced data analytics professional, currently serving as Director of Data Analytics and Data Tech Lead at Upstream Security since November 2020, focusing on data consulting for the automotive industry and implementing data observability and API security solutions. Prior to this role, Tom held multiple positions within Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 from December 2015 to July 2020, including Data Analyst Team Lead and Head of Technology Development & Intelligence Collection Department, where leadership was demonstrated during a critical period of data demand. Tom also has a strong background as an intelligence analyst officer, mentoring teams in SIGINT analysis, and as a data analyst, conducting extensive data collection and analysis. Educational credentials include a Bagrut Diploma in Computer Science, Cyber, Mathematics, and Physics from Ort Naomi Shemer, earned between 2012 and 2015.
