Kristin Liebman

Kristin Liebman is the current CFO at UpSwell. Prior to their current position, they served as Sr. Director of External Reporting at Immucor, Inc. from March 2013 to May 2017. During their time at Immucor, they were promoted in April 2015 which expanded their existing role. As Sr. Director, they were responsible for the financial reporting function for the global accounting organization, including the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements, the review of entity-level financial statements, as well as the preparation and review of financial analysis and key performance indicators for the business. Kristin also led discussions on complex accounting matters with internal and external auditors. In addition, they strengthened the global finance function by educating and training entity-level controllers in new and existing accounting standards, and leading global process improvements initiatives. Kristin was also a core member of the implementation team that rolled out a new ERP system worldwide.

Prior to their role as Sr. Director, Kristin served as Director of External Reporting from March 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the preparation and review of the company’s consolidated financial statements and related disclosures included in reports on Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. Kristin was also responsible for the proper application of GAAP and compliance with SOX regulations. In addition, they led the effort to design, build, and implement a new consolidated financial reporting application for the finance organization worldwide.

Kristin Liebman completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, majoring in Accounting and Finance.
