Oleg Gerasimenko

Oleg Gerasimenko has worked in the IT security field since 2008. Oleg started their career at Rosma Plus as an IT Security Specialist. In 2015, they moved to Bank BFA as an Information Technology Security Engineer. In 2017, they joined Uptick Entertainment Inc. as the Principal Security Manager and Senior Information Security Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for obtaining ISO 27001:2013 certification, performing risk assessments, developing IT security policies and procedures, managing accesses to company systems, configuring and administrating MDM, providing static and dynamic code analysis and MPT, investigating IT and security incidents, performing security awareness trainings, improving physical security, performing internal security audits, improving the network and development infrastructure, implementing DevSecOps practices in CI/CD, container security, designing and implementing a secure office for operating with sensitive information, and performing architecture reviews from a security perspective. Oleg used products and tools such as Tenable.IO, Symantec Endpoint protection, ESET Endpoint Security, Azure, AWS, InTune, SumoLogic, GitLab, Anchore Container Security, and Sonarqube.

Oleg Gerasimenko attended ITMO University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a degree in Information Security Specialist with a focus on Complex Protection of IT infrastructure. Oleg has also obtained several certifications, including AWS Security Essentials from Linux Academy in February 2020, DevSecOps Essentials from Linux Academy in June 2019, EF SET - English Certificate (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in June 2019, Tenable.io Certificate of Proficiency from Tenable in April 2018, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in July 2021, Sumo Logic Fundamentals and Sumo Logic Security Analytics from Sumo Logic in March 2020.
