Amit Malik

Amit Malik is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat research and intelligence. Currently serving as the Director of Threat Research at Uptycs since August 2018, Amit has architected core technologies for Uptycs EDR/XDR, founded Uptycs Threat Labs, and successfully led the company to its first public evaluation by MITRE. As a co-founder of Cysinfo, a cyber security community, Amit has been instrumental in supporting core cybersecurity initiatives since January 2012. Prior roles include significant contributions to Netskope's threat intelligence framework, research at FireEye, and developing advanced automated malware analysis systems at McAfee. Amit holds a B.Tech in Computers from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, earned in 2011.
