Habib Bangura

Habib Bangura is an accomplished education leader with extensive experience in program management, data-driven strategies, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as an Advisory Council Member at Harvard Business Review and Managing Director of Programs at The Urban Assembly, Bangura is also the Founder and CEO of Building Opportunity Pipelines, focusing on enhancing high school and post-secondary success through data utilization. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CEO of Project FoundED and National Director of Implementation and Continuous Improvement at Stand for Children, where impactful initiatives reached over 45,000 students across multiple states. Additional experience includes directing community schools to improve graduation rates and founding a center that won a federal grant for academic enrichment. Bangura holds an Ed.M from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master’s from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s from George Mason University.
