Matthew Paton

Matthew Paton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and consulting. As the Owner of Urban Axes since December 2015, Matthew has led the development of an Indoor Competitive Axe Throwing venue in Philadelphia, PA, and Austin, TX. Prior to this, Matthew served as the Director of Consulting Services and DevOps Practice Lead at CGI, where a DevOps consulting practice for the Greater Toronto Area Banking Division was built, successfully identifying and training 15 consultants. Matthew also held positions at JSL Software Solutions Inc. as Engagement Lead and Cloud Solution Consultant and at Macquarie Group in various roles, including Systems Integrator, where significant projects such as a data center consolidation and the integration of multiple businesses were executed. Early career experience includes working at P&O Nedlloyd as a Desktop Analyst. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Diploma in IT Professional Practice from the University of Technology Sydney.
