Davita Flowers-Shanklin

Davita Flowers-Shanklin is an experienced professional in volunteer management and environmental education, currently serving as the Volunteer Program Manager at the Urban Ecology Center since August 2015, where responsibilities include managing and recruiting volunteers for the Washington Park Branch and leading orientations. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon, Green Team Site Supervisor at Groundwork Milwaukee, Fellow at Public Allies, Collaboration Coordinator at the Milwaukee Environmental Consortium, and Outreach Assistant at Milwaukee Riverkeeper. Davita holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Biology from Macalester College.
