Marcos Guevara

Marcos Guevara currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy & Operations for Community Engagement at the Urban Ecology Center since March 2023. Previously, Marcos held the position of Managing Partner at SME Partners from January 2004 to March 2023, providing advisory services in strategy and change management for SMEs and corporate business units. Other notable roles include Director of Finance and Administration at the ACLU of Wisconsin, where Marcos enhanced people management practices and budgeting processes, and Co-owner of the idea works, focusing on community engagement. With experience as a Senior Advisor for LCR Capital Partners and Finance & Operations Manager at Andean Naturals, Marcos has extensive expertise in finance, operations, and organizational development. An educator, Marcos also served as an MBA Program Coordinator and Lecturer at Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. Educational credentials include an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BS in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
