Prior to their current position, David worked at the University of Central Oklahoma in various roles, including Assistant Vice President | Compensation & Benefits, Director of Talent Acquisition & Compensation, and Interim Assistant Vice President of Human Resources. In these roles, they were responsible for developing recruitment and retention strategies, overseeing compensation and benefits, and managing employee relations. David also implemented an Applicant Tracking Solution and led the recruitment efforts for the university.

Before joining the University of Central Oklahoma, David worked at Letsure (part of Barbon Insurance Group) as the HR & Training Manager and HR Advisor. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing and maintaining HR and training strategies, including recruitment and absence management.

David also gained experience working at IKEA as an HR Administrator, providing HR support to all UK stores, and at Terex as an HR Administrator, assisting with pension consultation and TUPE transfer meetings. David started their career as an HR Assistant at Ecebs, a software company, and worked on an HR audit project at BAA.
