Kumar Shivang

Kumar Shivang has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Kumar co-founded Urban Health | DTx in 2018 and served as the Co-Founder/CTO. At Urban Health, they focused on re-imagining wellness for the modern era by integrating personal coaching, psychology, biofeedback, and premium content. The company was backed by well-known investors and founders of BharatPe, CRED, MPL, ShareChat, and Unacademy.

In 2017, Shivang co-founded River App - Savings made simple and held the position of Co-Founder/CTO. Kumar also participated in the India Quotient Bootcamp during the same year. Prior to these ventures, they worked as a Full/Mobile Stack Developer at TAI School (tai.school) in 2016. In this role, they built Android applications for school students and instructors, enabling easy access to course content, mock tests, performance analysis, and more.

Shivang also gained experience as a Full/Mobile Stack Developer at Adcount Technologies Pvt Ltd from 2015 to 2016. Kumar'sresponsibilities included working on various Java-based applications, particularly eCommerce apps. Additionally, they mentored a project at the Programming Club IIT-Kanpur in 2016.

Kumar Shivang pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Devasthali Vidyapeeth and completed their 11th and 12th grades with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Continuing their academic journey, they then enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their B.tech degree in Aerospace Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Kumar Shivang also obtained a Diploma in Musical Instrument (Tabla) from Prayag University, Allahabad in August 2009.
