Mya Carr

Mya Carr is an experienced professional in STEM education, media communications, and customer service, currently serving as a STEM Ready Success Coach at the Urban League of Broward County since March 2023. In this role, Mya assists educators in enhancing STEM instruction techniques and student achievement while providing feedback and staff development opportunities. Mya also holds the position of CEO and Photographer at Monee Film & Fotos since January 2018 and previously worked as a Media Communications Specialist at DHRMI, where responsibilities included researching trends and developing social media strategies. Additional experience includes serving as an Audio Visual Technician at Broadcast Beat Studios and a Customer Service Agent at Airbnb, as well as a Technology Teacher at EAGLES NEST COMMUNITY CHARTER. Mya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Florida Memorial University.
