Sylvester Askins

Sylvester Askins has extensive experience in program coordination and organizing within various organizations. Currently, Sylvester serves as the Program Coordinator at the Urban League of Hampton Roads, Inc., since February 2021, and also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Moving Forward Consulting, LLC, since September 2019. Prior to these roles, Sylvester worked as an Organizer for the Prewitt Organizing Fund and AFSCME MD from April 2007 to February 2008. Sylvester's educational background includes attending an HBCU from 1973 to 1976.
