Dean Pearson

Dean Pearson is an experienced engineer with a focus on production and exploitation within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Exploitation Engineer and Operations Engineer at Urban Oil and Gas Group since April 2018, Dean has a background that includes significant roles at Cimarex Energy as a Production Engineer, where responsibilities included monitoring and optimizing production for approximately 300 wells, and prior experience at EXCO Resources, Inc., also as a Production Engineer. Dean's career began with internships at Anadarko Petroleum, where various engineering and production tasks were performed, including decline curve analysis and wellbore schematics. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 2011.
