Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith is an accomplished Environment, Health and Safety Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently leading the health, environmental, and safety initiatives at Urban Oil and Gas Group since February 2022, Jeff previously held similar managerial roles at Vine Oil & Gas, LP, and EagleRidge Energy, LLC, where responsibilities included overseeing teams focused on environmental and safety compliance for major gas producers. Earlier experience includes serving as Environmental and Regulatory Manager at Pioneer Natural Resources Company and Health Environmental and Safety Team Lead at Chevron, where Jeff managed HSE teams for offshore and land-based operations. With a foundational role as a Senior Environmental Coordinator at ConocoPhillips, Jeff has a proven track record in addressing complex environmental issues across multiple large-scale projects. Jeff holds a Master of Science degree in Geology/Physical Science from Stephen F. Austin State University.
