David Hawley

David Hawley has a diverse work experience in the field of IT security and management. David started as the Manager Technical Architecture at Pulte Homes in 1990 and worked until 1996. Later, they joined O/E Systems, Inc. as a Systems Engineer from 1996 to 1998. In 1999, they joined Computer Sciences Corporation and held various roles such as Security Officer, Engineering Services Manager, and Sr. Network/Security Engineer until 2003. From 2003 to 2015, they worked at IHS Automotive - Driven by Polk as the Sr. Manager, Global Information Assurance; Network/Security Manager. Currently, they are employed at Urban Science, where they started as the Global IT Security Manager in 2015 and has now progressed to the role of Global IT Security Director from January 2023.

David Hawley obtained their AADP degree in Data Processing and Information Systems from St. Clair County Community College from 1980 to 1986. David then pursued a BSIT degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, graduating between 2003 and 2005. Following that, they attended Walsh College from 2006 to 2007, where they earned their MSIA degree in Information Assurance/Security. David also holds additional certifications, including CISA and CISM from ISACA, and CISSP from (ISC)^2.
