Gabriel Flores has extensive experience in social services, particularly in working with vulnerable populations. Since December 2019, Gabriel has served as a Caseworker at Urban Strategies, utilizing trauma theory and therapeutic techniques to assist unaccompanied children entering the United States while also planning services and screening for human trafficking concerns. Previously, from February 2016 to August 2019, Gabriel worked as a Resident Parent at Ignite Refuge, where responsibilities included overseeing group interactions, ensuring the safety and care of youth, and developing treatment and aftercare plans. Prior experience includes a role as a Telephone Interviewer at the University of Florida. Gabriel holds a Master's degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University.
