Mark McGuire

Mark McGuire is a strategic advisor at Outing since December 2023, contributing to the company's mission of facilitating in-person social activities. As the founder of the Outdoors Program at Urban Ventures, Mark oversees a seasonal initiative providing youth with outdoor travel experiences. Mark has also served as a mentor for startup companies in Techstars' inaugural Minnesota Twins Accelerator Program and authored the Because Wonder Newsletter, focusing on life's hidden wonders. Previously, Mark held significant roles such as board member for Clean Wisconsin, gener8tor, Needls.com, and Cool Choices, and co-founded Gravy Live, a startup in the livestream commerce sector. Mark's earlier experience includes an Entrepreneur in Residence position at American Family Ventures, alongside a robust educational background with a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
