Diarmaid Scannell

Diarmaid Scannell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role is as a Project Manager at UrbanVolt, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Design Engineer at Arup from September 2021 to November 2022.

Before transitioning into the engineering field, Scannell worked as a Landscaper at Rocksolid Landsculpting from June 2019 to December 2019. During this time, they gained valuable experience in teamwork, stakeholder management, and time management.

Diarmaid also has experience in the retail industry, having worked as a Retail Assistant at Tesco from August 2017 to January 2018. Additionally, Scannell worked as a Sports Journalist at Sporting Limerick from July 2017 to January 2018, where they were responsible for daily research and conducting interviews.

Furthermore, Scannell has experience in an administrative role, having worked as an Office Administrator at Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board from April 2016 to August 2017. Their responsibilities included maintaining the premises, handling visitor attendance, and providing information to groups using the facility.

Diarmaid Scannell completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Limerick from 2015 to 2019. In 2018, they had the opportunity to study abroad through the Erasmus program at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Diarmaid later pursued a Master's degree in Project Management at the University of Limerick from 2020 to 2021.
