Diego Bestard

Diego Bestard has held a variety of positions in the finance and technology industries since 2004. Diego began their career as a Division Sales Manager for Primerica Financial Services in 2004. In 2008, they became a Consejero Financiero for Abante Asesores and simultaneously founded GigZone, a Social Network that streamlined the booking process for musicians and venues. Diego then became an Insurance Broker for Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 2009. In 2014, they co-founded Spotcap España, an online credit platform that provides fast and flexible financing for small businesses. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of Urbanitae. Most recently, in 2018, they became the General Manager of EYES - Emerging Young Entrepreneurs Society and in 2019, they became the Vice President of the Spanish Fintech and Insuretech Association.

Diego Bestard attended Florida International University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General and a Bachelor's degree in International Business. Diego also attended the American school of Madrid, where they completed their high school education.
