Sourav Basu

Sourav Basu is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the tech industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Urbint since October 2024, Sourav has previously held key positions including Technology Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Reckonsys Tech Labs from August 2018 to October 2024. Earlier, Sourav contributed to backend development as a Software Engineer at OneFin and served as a Backend Engineer at Appknox, where responsibilities included maintaining the Django backend. Notable achievements include joining OneFin as the first employee and building the majority of its backend from scratch. Sourav’s career began with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Budge Budge Institute Of Technology, complemented by earlier educational pursuits in science and general studies.
