Connie Beck has extensive work experience in IT transformation and digital leadership roles. Connie is currently serving as the Group Director - IT Transformation & Digital at Urbis, leading the firm's digital transformation in Australia and Singapore. Prior to this, Connie worked as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and Vice President IT APAC at Incitec Pivot Limited, where they were responsible for delivering the IT strategic direction for the company. Connie also held the position of Director IT Business Engagement at Simplot Australia, where they built partnerships with architecture and IT leaders to develop technology roadmaps. Additionally, Connie has worked as a Program Director at Australia Post, Senior IT Program Director at Coles, and APAC Managed Services Consultant at Getronics, managing various outsourcing and project activities. Connie started their career as the National Program Director at Freehills law firm.
Connie Beck, GAICD, FAIPM has a comprehensive education history in various fields. Connie obtained a Diploma of Project Management from the University of New England in 2003. In 2002, they gained a Certified Practising Project Director certification from the Australian Institute of Project Management. Additionally, they completed the General Manager Program from UNSW in 2012, specializing in AGSM Executive Program. Connie also participated in the Certificate in Executive and Management Development at AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2012. In 2001, they attended the Mt Eliza Business School for the Senior Executive Manager's Program. Connie expanded their knowledge in Agile methodologies by completing the Agilist (SA) Certification Program from Scaled Agile Academy in 2015. Their education also involved acquiring a Certified Practising Program Director certification from the Australian Institute of Management, starting in 2000 and ongoing until 2021. Lastly, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2018.
