Lydia Castleden has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lydia most recently served as the Head of Brand, Marketing, and Communications at Urbis starting from June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Hassell, where they held various roles including Marketing Leader, Marketing and Communications Manager, and Digital Communications Manager from 2016 to 2022. Lydia also had significant experience at VicRoads, where they served as the Manager Marketing Digital and Brand, Digital Engagement Manager, Senior Marketing and Communications Advisor, and Manager, Marketing Communications and Design from 2011 to 2016. In addition, Lydia had a volunteer position at YGAP as the Manager Marketing and Communications for the Polished Man Campaign in 2015. Lydia started their career at KPMG as a Brand and Marketing Communications Specialist and Marketing Coordinator from 2007 to 2011. Prior to KPMG, they worked as a Training and Marketing Consultant at Training Express from 2006 to 2007.

Lydia Castleden completed their Bachelor of Business in Marketing and Management from Swinburne University of Technology from 2002 to 2006. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese from the same university. In 2007, they obtained a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment from Training Express.
