Joseph Toscano

Joseph Toscano is an accomplished Emergency Physician and Facility Medical Director at TeamHealth since September 2022. As the CEO of NORTHERN CALIFORNIA EMERGENCY MEDICINE GROUP since February 2019, Toscano has significantly impacted the field of emergency medicine. Additionally, Toscano serves as the Clinical Education Content Coordinator for the Urgent Care Association since January 2017 and has been an Emergency Physician at San Ramon Regional Medical Center since May 1999. Toscano also hosted the Urgentology Podcast from January 2021 to July 2023, focusing on urgent care medicine. Previous roles include Clinical Chief at Envision Healthcare and Chief of Emergency Medicine at Sheridan Healthcare. Toscano earned an MD in Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine and an AB in Biology, Liberal Arts from Dartmouth College.
