Chrissy Livergood

#firemappers Pilot Project Volunteer at URISA's GISCorps

Chrissy Livergood is an experienced Geographic Information Systems Technician with the National Park Service since December 2019, involved in various GIS projects, including snow cover data analysis and EGIS road and building updates. As a pilot project volunteer with URISA's GISCorps, Chrissy supports wildfire mapping efforts. Chrissy has a robust background in park services, having served as a Park Ranger and Geoscientist in Parks at Yosemite, along with volunteer roles such as webmaster for the Towanda IL Route 66 Parkway and social media curator for the 52 Hike Challenge. Chrissy also has business experience as a Territory Manager at MPOWERD Inc. and an MBA focus in marketing and statistics from Baruch College, supported by a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
