Mary-Benedicta Obikili

Mary-Benedicta Obikili has extensive experience in medical and biological research, currently serving as a Medical Scribe at UroPartners LLC since October 2021. Prior experience includes participation in the Las Ganas Research Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2018 to October 2021, which provided two years of mentorship and research experience. Mary-Benedicta has also held positions as an Undergraduate Research Fellow in the STEP UP program, where research focused on retroviral evolution, and as a Research Fellow in the Rush Summer Research Scholars Program, concentrating on colorectal cancer research. Additional internships include a study abroad social services internship in Paris, hands-on research at City Colleges of Chicago, and participation in projects addressing health disparities through ChicagoCHEC. Mary-Benedicta holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago and two Associate degrees in Biology from Harry S Truman College.
