Melissa Bergin

Melissa Bergin is an experienced aerospace engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently serving as an Engine Lead at Ursa Major since April 2019, Melissa has previously held positions as a Senior Propulsion Development Engineer and Systems Development Engineer in the same company. Prior to Ursa Major, tenure at Boeing involved work as a Propulsion Engineer, where responsibilities included developing thermal analysis models for the SLS Exploration Upper Stage's hydrazine thrusters, as well as contributions in test engineering and systems engineering roles. Earlier work experience includes internships at SpaceX, Lockheed Martin, Utility, Inc., and HEICO Aerospace, with diverse responsibilities ranging from quality assurance to design and reverse engineering of aerospace components.
