Ryan Tobias has a diverse work experience in the United States Air Force. Ryan started their career in 2009 as the Chief of Manpower Requirements Branch in Air Force Global Strike Command. Ryan then served as a Force Requirements Officer in United States Forces - Afghanistan in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as the Services Sustainment Flight Commander in the United States Air Force and later as the Deputy Chief of Force Management in the National Guard Bureau. In 2015, they joined the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center as the Personnel Functional Area Manager. Ryan then became the Director of Flight Line Protocol in the 89th Airlift Wing from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as the Operations Officer in 811 Force Support Squadron. In 2019, they joined the United States Air Force as a Human Capital Strategist and Chief of Talent Management/Force Development in the Air Force Futures. In 2021, they became the Chief of Sustainment Division in the Air Force Personnel Center. Currently, they serve as the Deputy Director of Mission Operations in the US Air Force Services.
Ryan Tobias obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Tulsa, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs at Webster University from 2011 to 2014.
